Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 restrictions we are not currently able to hold events in Firs Farm BUT you can still visit Firs Farm and enjoy the lovely walk around the many paths and woodland wetland areas.

You can still play Tennis   and Table Tennis

2020 AGM

Dear Friends, neighbours and interested others.  The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Firs Farm took place on Thursday 27th August at 7pm. This was a socially distanced event, limited numbers due to current Covid restrictions on gatherings, If you would like to comment back on this meeting and y\have an opportunity to get involved and help make a difference, please email the Friends by Monday 7th September as you still have time to do this. Public meeting  come and find out more about the Firs Farm Community Café/Hub

Attend public meetings and “Have Your Say” about Firs Farm.  Find out for example; why we have a wetlands (SUDs – Sustainable Urban Drainage System) The biggest of its kind in the UK and what it does for flood relief.

Planting very special trees in Firs Farm – Japanese Akura Flowering Cherry Trees. More details to follow later in the year.

Volunteering dates:

Join the Friends to carry out Conservation & “Gardening” tasks in the park. Just turn up to register at the meeting point by 9:45 ready to begin at 10 on Mondays (Not Bank Holidays) or the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month.
