Corporate Volunteering Day in Firs Farm & Something else – Wednesday 19th July 2017

WOW what a day we had in Firs Farm today…

Interviews and filming tok place for footage for the awards  – YES Firs Farm is a finalist for  the 2017 Living Waterways awards which will be held in September 2017 – We will keep you update on the outcome of this so fingers crossed everyone . We think it s a definite  winner of course.

We worked on the usual tasks in Firs Farm thanks to the wonderful help from our Sony corporate volunteer team today.

we promoted the community café with park users thanks to Eileen Katy and James

and then were photographed by Prima magazine photographer whilst working in Firs Farm.

The best bit  – we were presented with a cheque from the Kier foundation for £600 to help us to buy equipment so that we can continue to look after our Firs Farm  – Thank you Kier Foundation team one and all.
